(Union City, CA) August, 2018 - Finelite, Inc. , a recognized leader in energy-efficient lighting systems for offices, educational, and healthcare facilities, is pleased announce the launch of the new High Performance HP-4 Wet Location (HP4-WL) luminaire.

HP-4 WL was designed to be a robust linear lighting solution for variable environments without sacrificing the time tested clean line aesthetic of the standard HP-4 product.

Approved with a dust and water rating of IP65 and an impact rating of IK10, the HP-4 WL utilizes a liquid tight cord grip, robust diffusers, and a durable double coated finish designed to withstand the challenges of outdoors. Featuring lens gasket cover plates which allow for expansion and contraction of lens while still maintaining a tight seal; the HP4-WL is also equipped with Gore® protective vents concealed from view which allows air to pass through but prevents water, salt, corrosive liquids and particulates from entering inside.

Featuring gasketed endcaps that are mechanically secured to the body from the inside and a magnetic plate that hides fastening hardware, the HP-4 WL is free of all visible hardware but is easily accessible for luminaire maintenance and installation.

Following the same joining method as standard HP-4 products, installing contractors can repeatedly produce water-tight tight joints both indoors and out. HP4-WL is offered in direct pendant, wall mount, surface mount, and recessed in independent section lengths and continuous rows.
